2.Data we process
- If you contact us, we process your contact details and the message you choose to send.
- In the application, we process account details such as name, email, protected credentials and verification status, as well as the records you enter about your aviary.
- We also process technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as access logs, session data and your language preference.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive transaction references and status needed to confirm purchases and manage access.
Do not enter personal data about other people into the application unless it is necessary to manage your aviary.
3.Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and providing requested features: pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract.
- Processing purchases, confirming payments and keeping accounting records: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.
- Keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and diagnosing faults: our legitimate interest in operating the service safely.
Where consent applies, you may withdraw it for the future without affecting earlier processing.
4.Service providers
Data is shared only with providers needed to deliver the service, such as hosting, service email and payment processing (Stripe), and with authorities where required by law. Providers act under instructions and data-protection obligations.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the processing relies on safeguards required by data-protection law. Consult the provider information for applicable details.
5.Retention
We keep data only for as long as needed for the stated purposes, to provide the application and to meet legal retention periods. Billing data may need to be kept for statutory periods; account data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to backups being removed through their rotation cycle.

Under applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where applicable. You may also complain to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
